Zhidou Wang
My name is Zhiduo Wang, a second-year student of Material Science and Engineering department. I was born in 2002 in Harbin, which is located in the very northern part of China. I have obtained a bachelor's degree of Material Science and Engineering in South China University of Technology. I mainly focused on mechanoluminescence materials, which is able to illuminate under stress stimuli. I have also done several research on glass–ceramic fibers and photochromism. I’m basically the stereotypical otaku. I like watching comic and animation in my spare time. I also play badminton sometimes. In the following academic year I will start doing my MSc thesis about implantable light emitter for cardiac muscle concentration monitoring, with Dr. Clementine Boutry, Dr. Filipe Arroyo Cardoso and Zhengwei Liao as my supervisors.
