MSc F. Valente

Flavia received a BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2021 from Politecnico di Milano. In 2024, she graduated cum laude with a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, specializing in the electronic technologies and sensors track. For her MSc thesis, she joined the Microelectronics faculty for a project on the design and microfabrication of a CMOS-compatible platform for investigating ultrasound-induced ion channel activity in neurons. The project was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Filipe Arroyo Cardoso (Electronic Instrumentation) and Prof. Tiago Costa (Bioelectronics).

She started her PhD at TU Delft in September 2025, in the Department of Electronic Instrumentation, focusing on wearable and implantable sensors for neurotransmitter detection.
